Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution on the appointment of the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Head of the Operative and Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The head of Uzbekistan signed a corresponding decree on 22 February. According to the document, Shavkat Rakhmonov became the first deputy of internal affairs - the head of the Operative and Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Prior to that, Shavkat Rakhmonov served as head of the department of internal affairs of the Namangan region.
