Fire Extinguished in 19-Story Residential Building in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A fire occurred in a 19-story residential building on Hamid Alimjan Street in the Lashkarbegi neighborhood of Tashkent’s Mirzo-Ulugbek district.

The emergency call was received at 16:30, and fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene eight minutes later, at 16:38. Thanks to the rapid response, the fire was contained by 16:52 and fully extinguished by 16:59.

No injuries were reported. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the material damage.
