Fire at Chorsu Market in Tashkent Quickly Extinguished

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 January, a fire broke out in one of the shops at Chorsu Market. The report was received by the Tashkent Main Department of Emergency Situations at 16:04.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene within four minutes. By 16:20, the fire had been contained, and by 16:25 it was completely extinguished.

According to the Emergency Department, there were no casualties or injuries. The fire damaged the shop’s basement, affecting an area of approximately 15 square meters.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
