Fire at Beshkurgan Market in Chilanzar Fully Extinguished

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 April 2026, at 15:56 local time, authorities received a report of a fire at a shop in the Beshkurgan market located in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent.

Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene. Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General A. Ikramov, personally oversaw the fire-fighting operations.

The fire was contained by 16:53 and fully extinguished by 18:18. No injuries have been reported.
