Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 28 April, at 7:00 AM, the Main Directorate for Emergency Situations of Tashkent received information about a fire at a construction materials warehouse located on G. Aliyev Street in the "Abdurauf Fitrat" neighborhood of the Mirabad district of Tashkent.

Firefighting and rescue teams arrived at the scene promptly at 7:02 AM. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the firefighters, the fire was completely extinguished by 8:33 AM.

The fire damaged the interior of the building and the roof of the warehouse, covering an area of approximately 500 square meters.

A total of 12 fire and rescue teams were involved in extinguishing the blaze.

Specialists are currently investigating the cause of the incident and assessing the extent of the material damage.

There were no casualties as a result of the fire.

The heads of the capital’s and district emergency management departments are currently working at the scene.
