Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 September, a meeting was held in the building of the Ministry of Finance with the participation of officials of the Ministry and the World Bank on strengthening institutional capacity to combat corruption in Uzbekistan.

At this meeting, the issues of developing and putting into practice criteria for preliminary identification of corruption risks and situations of conflict of interests of government customers and procurement participants in public procurement were discussed in detail.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further joint work on the issues discussed between them.
