FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024™: Uzbekistan loses to Costa Rica

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has concluded its performance at the home FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024™  .

In the final match of the group stage, Uzbekistan lost to Costa Rica with a score of 3-5.

After the group stage, the Uzbekistan team earned just one point from three matches, thus missing out on a chance to advance to the playoffs.

The Netherlands defeated Paraguay with a score of 5-2 and secured second place in Group A. Paraguay, with six points, became the group leader, while Costa Rica accumulated four points.

Brazil crushed Thailand with a score of 9-1.

The match between Cuba and Croatia ended with a victory for the European team with the score 7-0.
