Ferghana Region Promotes Tourism Potential in Malaysia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Ferghana Region is currently on a working visit to Malaysia, where meetings and presentations are being held to develop cooperation in the tourism sector.

During the visit, the region’s tourism potential and a new package of tourism services were presented to leading Malaysian travel companies.

More than 20 major tour operators participated in the event, familiarizing themselves with new tourist destinations and products. Particular attention was drawn to the “Golden Triangle” package, which connects the three republics of the Ferghana Valley.

At a B2B meeting, the Executive Director of one of Malaysia’s largest companies with a 50-year history, SEDUNIA TRAVEL, Nurdana Fard, and the company DILRABO TRAVEL signed a cooperation agreement in the field of religious tourism.

Under the agreement, approximately 3,000 tourists are expected to be exchanged during the 2026–2027 tourism season.

The presentations and negotiations in Malaysia aim to strengthen international tourism cooperation and promote Ferghana Region as a new attractive destination for foreign visitors.
