Ferghana Refinery Discusses Cooperation Prospects with HSB Solomon Associates

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 14 October 2025, a meeting was held at the Ferghana Oil Refinery with Ivan Tomashevsky, Business Development and Consulting Director for the CIS and Turkey at the international consulting firm HSB Solomon Associates.

HSB Solomon Associates is a global leader in benchmarking and operational performance analysis for oil refineries. The company has conducted studies at more than 320 refineries worldwide and collaborates with major international industry players, including Shell, BP, TotalEnergies, and ExxonMobil. Within partnership projects, Solomon implements initiatives to optimize production processes, introduce innovative technologies, and enhance operational efficiency.

During the meeting, both parties discussed key areas of strategic cooperation, including participation of the Ferghana refinery in Solomon’s international research projects, implementation of advanced digital and production technologies, experience exchange with leading oil and gas enterprises, and comprehensive approaches to improving plant efficiency.

Representatives of HSB Solomon Associates noted the high potential of the Ferghana Oil Refinery and expressed readiness for further long-term cooperation.
