Ferghana Expands Cooperation with CLAAS in Agri-Tech

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Governor of Ferghana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held talks with Volker Günter Zettl, Regional Director for Eurasia of CLAAS in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, along with the company’s local representatives.

The meeting focused on the broader adoption of modern agricultural technologies in the region and further development of mutually beneficial cooperation with CLAAS.

Bozorov noted that ongoing agricultural reforms in Uzbekistan are actively promoting the introduction of modern machinery, with CLAAS equipment playing an important role in improving farm efficiency. The company’s products are in strong demand across the country.

The parties discussed upgrades to agricultural machinery, including DOMINATOR grain harvesters and tractors, as well as their digitalization and integration of smart control systems.

Particular attention was given to plans for establishing a regional training center to develop skilled personnel, introducing a dual education system, expanding service support, and improving the effective use of machinery.

Following the meeting, both sides agreed to deepen cooperation and implement joint projects aimed at modernizing the agricultural sector through advanced technologies.
