Ferghana Discusses Investment Project with Chinese Firm

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Hokim of Ferghana region Khayrullo Bozorov met with a delegation from the Xiangyang Tenglong Automobile Co., Ltd., led by Chairman Wang Wengjun.

The meeting focused on a prospective project planned for implementation in the Yazyavan district. Bozorov emphasized that Uzbekistan provides a favorable environment for investors, supporting the launch of new initiatives.

Particular attention was given to ensuring that products meet high-quality standards and expand export potential.

The discussion covered the production and localization of fire trucks, special equipment for waste transportation, and other types of machinery, as well as ways to attract Chinese investment in this sector.

Bozorov highlighted the importance of creating new jobs within the project and expressed readiness to provide comprehensive support.

Dilshodjon Jalilov also participated in the meeting. The parties agreed to continue cooperation and to determine the next steps for project implementation.
