Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A new badge "Tumaris" for female military personnel is being established in Uzbekistan, Dunyo news agency reports, citing a resolution signed by the head of our state on 15 November.
The document notes that the award will stimulate and morally support female military personnel, employees, workers and employees who are followers of our great ancestors and make a worthy contribution to strengthening the independence of our country, increasing its defense power, maintaining interethnic tolerance and peace prevailing in our society. and stability, education of youth in the spirit of patriotism and devotion to the ideas of independence.
According to the law, the badge will be awarded to female military personnel, employees, workers and employees of women performing official activities in the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Security Service of the President, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the National Guard, the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and other ministries and departments where military service is provided, who have made a significant contribution to strengthening the country’s defense power and building the Armed Forces, who have shown high professional skills and loyalty to the military-patriotic duty, including for their steadfastness in protecting the independence and territorial integrity of Uzbekistan, as well as for special achievements in the field of sports, culture, science, education and social activities.
The decision to award the badge of distinction will be made by a special commission, which at the meeting, after examining the documents of candidates, will annually until December 25 make a final conclusion on the most worthy of them.
The badge will be presented on the eve of January 14 - the Day of Defenders of the Motherland in a solemn atmosphere by the heads of ministries and departments.
