Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan opens legal clinic

The law clinic is a new element in human rights protection and unites practice of legal protection and legal education.

The legal clinic of the Federation was created to strengthen legal protection of workers of social-economic sphere and provide them free legal services, the press service of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan said.

The clinic will provide services on such directions as social-legal activity (protection of rights and interests of people, provide free legal services), informational-educational activity on international and national labour standards, educational activity (improve knowledge of people and volunteers), etc.

Some 30 volunteers – 27 university students and 7 college students, as well as 15 tutors and 41 experts will work at the clinic.
