Fatal road accident occurred in Mirabad district

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 July 2021, at about 06:40 am, at the intersection of Nukus and Mirabad streets in Mirabad district, 20-year-old Laurita Z., driving a Tracker car, could not cope with driving a vehicle and hit a pedestrian - 56-year-old Mirkamal Y.

The pedestrian died from his injuries at the scene. 

The Investigation Department of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent opened a criminal case against the driver on the grounds of a crime provided for in Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

An investigation is underway.
