Farrukh Sattarov appointed as Director of the National Climate Change Center
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Farrukh Sattarov has been appointed as the Director of the National Climate Change Center under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, according to a ministerial order.
Farrukh Sattarov was born on 28 July 1986, in Jizzakh, the administrative center of Jizzakh region. In 2007, he graduated from Tashkent State Technical University with a bachelor’s degree, and in 2023, he completed his master’s studies at the Higher School of Entrepreneurship and Business.
Before his new appointment, Sattarov headed the "Environmental Policy" Department at the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change.
Previously, he held various positions at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, the "Uzstandard" Agency, and several other organizations.
