Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 April 2021, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Farhod Arziev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan Hisham al-Suweilim.

The parties discussed issues of further strengthening cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, exchanged views on the implementation of joint investment projects in Uzbekistan.

The meeting also separately considered the progress of preparations for the forthcoming 4th meeting of the Uzbek-Saudi Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economy, science and technology, culture, sports and youth.
