Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Uzbekistan, the facades of 31,000 houses will be covered with basalt coating. The corresponding instruction was given by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov during a meeting on improving local energy supply.
It was noted that 31,000 houses out of the existing 40,000 were built before 1991. The Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Construction, together with local khokimiyats, to prepare a draft program within two months, according to which the facades of 31,000 houses will be covered with basalt coating.
Now, when preparing design estimates for the construction of buildings, the use of energy-saving materials will be mandatory.
