Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 September, Tashkent hosted an "Innovation Day", organized by the IT Park of Uzbekistan.
The main issue on the agenda was the development of business in Uzbekistan in the era of challenges of the present and future. EY took part, becoming one of the conference partners.
Adamas Ilkevicius, Deputy General Director for Strategy and Development (JSC "Lithuanian Railways"), spoke about the transformation of technologies in his company. Using the SAP platform as the main accounting system, Mr. Ilkevichus mentioned the transformation of the SAP platform in the period from 2018 to 2021.
As part of the modernization of the SAP solutions platform, Lithuanian Railways cooperates with EY, which has offered transformational solutions in the field of taxes, accounting, data and investment project management, and cross-functional solutions.
“Improvement of the company’s activities is impossible without transformation, without the introduction of new technologies, and such serious changes must be carried out in the presence of reliable partners,” says Mr. Ilkevichus.
In conclusion, the speaker emphasized the need not only to master new technologies, but also to apply new methods of doing business.
Experts from the EY consulting practice: Ruta Makarevichute and Oleksandr Avramenko attended the event as delegates.
Among other things, the event participants discussed issues of innovative technologies, human capital, supply chain management.
