EY tests future employees of the IFRS department of Uzbekneftegaz
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting of graduates, fourth and fifth year students, was held on 9 April in the city of Tashkent with representatives of Uzbekneftegaz and EY (Ernst & Young) within the framework of the “Open Day” and “Fairs vacancies ”, organized by the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after Gubkin.
The reason for the meeting was the competitive recruitment of the staff to the newly formed department of IFRS (international standard financial reporting) in Uzbekneftegaz.
Evidence of the seriousness of the intentions to receive future specialists was the presence of representatives of the audit organization EY, which is the official partner between Uzbekneftegaz and university graduates.
Representatives of Uzbekneftegaz described in detail to the students of the "economy" department the specifics of their future work, gave the necessary explanations. It is noteworthy that already during the meeting the first stage of selection took place, which took place in a testing format. Control tasks mainly related to accounting knowledge and technical English. The following representatives of EY Anvarhon Azamov - Head of EY Practice in Uzbekistan, Marina Ten - Lead HR Specialist, Shokhmir Dadajanov - Senior Expert of the Audit Department, conducted the testing.
As representatives of EY noted, the students confirmed the reputation of a renowned university, demonstrating with their answers a high level of knowledge and professional training in general.
