Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to transform Uzbekneftegaz into an internationally recognized public company that meets world standards, a number of transformation processes are being carried out.

The audit company EY carried out the necessary work to assess the readiness of Uzbekneftegaz for an IPO (initial public shares) in the direction of accounting and financial statements and provided a preliminary report on the results.

Based on the results, the EY audit company identified the most important areas related to reporting processes and ICT solutions and made proposals.

Currently, working meetings are being held between responsible departments to fully cover problem areas and find ways to eliminate them.

As a result of these meetings, both parties received relevant instructions to eliminate the problems studied between Uzbekneftegaz and the EY audit company, and agreed to speed up work in this direction.
