Explosion occurred at ammonia workshop of Ferghanaazot
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
An explosion occurred at a chemical plant in the city of Ferghana in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.
According to the Uzbek Ministry, the blast took place at ammonia workshop of Ferghanaazot during the repair-assembly works.
There are human causalities in the result of explosion, the ministry said. But the ministry did not elaborate on number of victims.
The Governmental Commission was created to investigate the blast and help to families of victims.
