Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A working group consisting of specialists from the Ministry of Energy, Uzbekneftegaz and the Ximavtomatika joint venture of Honeywell is conducting a design study at oil and gas production facilities.
The next study of the working group was carried out in the Mubarek, Shurtan oil and gas production departments, the Mubarek gas processing plant and the Shurtan gas chemical complex, owned by Uzbekneftegaz. On the part of specialists, the automated system of operational dispatch control (ASODU) and its capabilities, implemented in oil and gas production departments, were studied.
It should be noted that on the basis of a cooperation agreement with Honeywell, a Roadmap was approved, in which a foreign company was instructed to study the current state of production and non-production facilities (buildings and structures) at Uzbekneftegaz.
It is planned to implement the Honeywell Forge – IIoT (Industrial Internet Products) system at oil and gas facilities, covering high technologies such as ML (machine learning) and AI (artificial intelligence).
According to the Roadmap approved by a foreign company, the concept of a software and hardware platform and digital infrastructure for automating production and non-production facilities will be implemented by agreement of the parties.
In the course of research conducted in departments and enterprises, software and hardware platforms were selected that are planned to be implemented to automate the activities of oil and gas facilities and dispatch services, as well as specific programs from Honeywell ecosystems that fully cover the functions of the infrastructure and platform in accordance with digital concept.р
Also, together with foreign partners, a plan was developed for the implementation of selected solutions, that is, programs for the automation system, digitalization of buildings and structures.
