Experts discuss draft final Tashkent Declaration on Afghanistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 March 2018, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Hekmat Khalil Karzai, a preparatory meeting of senior officials of countries and international organizations participating in the forum on Afghanistan was held in Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.

The experts discussed and agreed on the draft final declaration of the Tashkent Declaration, which will be submitted for approval by the heads of delegations of the International Conference on High Level on Afghanistan "Peace Process, Cooperation in the Sphere of Security and Regional Cooperation", which opens in Tashkent on 27 March.
