Exhibition of SCO Countries’ Cultural Heritage Opens in Beijing with Uzbekistan’s Participation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An exhibition titled “Shining Constellation of Civilizations: Cultural Heritage of National Museums of SCO Countries” has opened in Beijing. The event, timed to coincide with the SCO Summit in Tianjin, will run until 16 November at the National Museum of China.
The exhibition features 220 artifacts from ten leading museums of the organization’s member states. Uzbekistan is presenting 27 items from the collections of the State Museum of History and the State Museum of Arts.
These include rare archaeological finds, wall paintings, examples of medieval craftsmanship, and decorative-applied art pieces from the 19th–20th centuries, reflecting the country’s rich cultural heritage.
Organizers note that the exhibition serves as an important platform for cultural exchange, showcasing the diversity of SCO countries’ traditions and their historical connections along the Great Silk Road.
