EvoBus delivers 18 Mercedes-Benz buses to Tashkent

Toshshahartranshizmat Association said that the German company delivered 18 buses of Mercedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor model to Tashkent.

As reported earlier, EvoBus GmbH delivered 30 buses of Mercedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor to Tashkent as of 31 August 2013.

It is planned that the German firm will supply another 39 buses to the Uzbek capital in September-October 2013.

Toshshahartranshizmat Association and EvoBus GmbH (Germany) signed an agreement for supply of 100 city passenger buses of Mercedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor model to Tashkent city, spare parts and diagnostic tools for them in 2013.

The cost of the deal is 14 million euros, of which 13.75 million euros will be used to purchase buses and 250,000 euros for spare parts.

The resolution of the Government of Uzbekistan said that the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan (FRDU) will fully finance the agreement. The FRDU will issue loan for 15 years with three-year grace period.
