Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- European vocational education standards will be introduced in 1 technical school in each region. The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said in his address to the Parliament.

“The fact that 50 percent of high school graduates enter the labor market with no profession should give us all pause,” he said.

“Therefore, it is necessary to effectively use the capabilities of more than 700 vocational schools, colleges and technical schools,” the head of state added.

For this, a new program will be implemented from 2023, the President said.
