EU to finance creation of Center on combating with chemical and biological materials in Tashkent

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and director of United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute Jonathan Lucas signed a memorandum of establishing and functioning of the Regional secretariat of the centers of advanced experience on chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear materials for Central Asia in Tashkent.

The document was signed in Brussels, Belgium. According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the project was initiated and will be financed by the European Union.
