EU imposes sanctions on Uzbek company Uzstanex
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The European Union has added the Uzbek company Uzstanex to its sanctions list.
On 24 February, the EU announced its 16th package of sanctions, coinciding with the third anniversary of the military conflict in Ukraine. The updated list includes Uzstanex, a company based in Uzbekistan.
Uzstanex, owned by Dmitry Boytsov, specializes in the wholesale trade of mechanical devices.
Previously, the United States imposed sanctions on the company in October, followed by the United Kingdom in November.
