He said that in uneasy economic situation in the end of 2014 and beginning of 2015 in Russia impacted mutual trade. The envoy said that the bilateral trade turnover fell by 1.6% to US$4 billion in line with the Russian statistics. He added that in line with the Uzbek statistics, trade turnover between two states hit US$6.1 billion.
Tyurdenov underlined that Uzbekistan is one of main trade partners among the states of Central Asia for Russia.
He said that Uzbekistan was the fourth on the volume of bilateral trade among the CIS states and Russia was the first among trade partners of Uzbekistan, accounting 21.8% of total foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan.
