Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Uzbekistan, entrepreneurs may be allowed to provide currency exchange services.

This is envisaged by the draft presidential decree "On measures to remove barriers that negatively affect the competitive environment and further expand the areas of entrepreneurial activity." The document was published on the portal of regulatory legal acts.

The document proposes, starting from 1 July 2022, to gradually implement the state’s share in airports, road construction enterprises, production of electric and thermal energy, heat supply, sale of petroleum products and other industries.

Also, the private sector may be allowed to engage in the purchase, processing, sale and manufacture of pieces and waste of non-ferrous metals.
