Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Entrepreneurs who intended to sell expired drinks, canned food and teas for 2.4 billion soums were detained in Tashkent. They used acetone to remove the expiration date on the packages.

The detainees were selling expired Bliss and Juicy Dolina juices, Marinelle tomato paste, and sweetened milk condensed milk, the report says.

When checking two warehouses rented by entrepreneurs on the basis of Techno Invest, they found unusable goods with a falsified shelf life worth more than 2.4 billion soums - juices, canned food, drinks, teas, condensed milk, as well as acetone, used in removing the expiration date.
