Entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan to visit California

Within the visit, the delegation of Uzbekistan will familiarize with experience of large US companies in management and strategic management, visit Silicon Valley, Stanford University, meet top-managers of the US companies, start-ups, investors and experts, AMBiT press service said.

The delegation will also travel to Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco.

On 9 June, US Ambassador to Uzbekistan Pamela Spratlen met with the participants of the tour at TechnoPlaza business center in Tashkent.

At the meeting, the US envoy said that she is meeting with the representatives of small businesses for the first time during her five-month work in Uzbekistan.

Pamela Spratlen said that the US Embassy welcomes the first visit of the Uzbek businesspeople to California, especially to Silicon Valley, which is the global center for innovations and Hi-tech. She said that small ideas are becoming huge projects there and bring billions of income.

The US envoy met with the participants of the trip and answered to their questions on doing business in the US and projects, implemented in Uzbekistan.
