Entrepreneurs are compensated for part of the transportation costs when exporting products

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Regulation on the procedure for compensation of part of the transportation costs when exporting products was approved by the Government resolution.

According to the Regulation, in order to provide compensation:

- the exporter must be registered in Uzbekistan;

- products must be of local production;

- export is carried out to countries that do not border on Uzbekistan (except for Afghanistan and other cases provided for by law);

- the goods must be placed in the export mode (except for the export of products by mail for an amount of up to US$5 thousand);

- in an export contract, transport costs for the delivery of products should be borne by the exporter, who must make payments.

The application and related documents are submitted to the Export Promotion Agency directly, by mail or electronically through the Agency's website.

At the request of the exporter, the decision (conclusion) on the provision of compensation is made by the authorized body. In this case, the fee for the consideration of the application is not charged.

The grounds for refusal to pay compensation are:

- non-compliance of documents with the established requirements;

- the presence of inaccurate, inaccurate information or distortion of information in the documents;

- upon expiration of the subsidy allocated for the current year.

When exporting products, up to 50% of transportation costs can be reimbursed.
