Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- For the first time in the history of the chemical industry of Uzbekistan, the production of nitrogen mineral fertilizers by the enterprises of the Uzkimyosanoat joint-stock company exceeded 3 million tons. This was reported by the press service of Uzkimyosanoat JSC.

Today, for the first time in the history of the chemical industry of our country, the volume of nitrogen mineral fertilizers in physical weight produced by the enterprises of the Uzkimyosanoat joint-stock company since the beginning of 2021 has exceeded 3 million tons. As a result, the agriculture of the republic was fully and timely provided with mineral fertilizers and made a worthy contribution to increasing the country’s export potential.

The achievement of these indicators was facilitated by: the phased launch of new modern projects for the production of nitric acid and ammonia-carbamide, implemented at the initiative of the Head of our state, put into operation last year at the Navoiazot enterprise, to the design capacity, timely and high-quality overhaul and modernization of equipment due to changes in the industry and the emergence of funds at enterprises with the practical support of the state.

The sale of all types of produced mineral fertilizers in the domestic market is carried out through the Uzbek Commodity Exchange. The enterprises pay special attention to the quality of mineral fertilizers supplied to consumers.
