Enterprises of Uzbekistan produced industrial products worth 32.9 trillion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data, in January 2022, enterprises of Uzbekistan produced industrial products worth 32.9 trillion soums, the index of physical volume of industrial production compared to the same period in 2021 amounted to 108.5%. This was stated by the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

In the structure of production, the largest share falls on manufacturing enterprises (78.0%), the volume of production of which amounted to 25.7 trillion soums.

The main factors in the growth of the physical volume of industrial production were its increase in manufacturing enterprises - by 9.6%. There is also an increase in the mining industry by 4.8%, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning - by 5.1% and water supply, sewerage, collection and disposal of waste - by 2.9%.

In January 2022, manufacturing enterprises produced goods worth 25.7 trillion soums, or 78.0% of the total industry.

In the structure of the manufacturing industry, the share of high-tech industries was 3.7% (2.0% in January 2021), medium-tech - 18.1% (13.6%), medium-low-tech - 39.8% (44.7%) and low-tech - 38.4% (39.7%).

In the volume of the manufacturing industry, the share of enterprises for the production, repair, assembly of machinery and equipment, the production of cars, trailers, semi-trailers and other finished products amounted to 13.9% (the index of physical volume by January 2021 was 145.6%), the metallurgical industry - 30.2% (volume index by January 2021 amounted to 105.1%), enterprises for the production of textile, clothing and leather products - 20.7% (volume index by January 2021 amounted to 105.8%), for the production food, beverages and tobacco products - 15.6% (volume index by January 2021 was 102.1%), enterprises for the production of chemical products, rubber and plastic products - 8.9% (volume index by January 2021 amounted to 102.9%

In January 2022, the republic produced 97.8 thousand tons of motor gasoline (compared to the corresponding period of 2021, an increase of 4.2%), 46.2 thousand tons of cotton yarn (a decrease of 13.7%), 7.2 million liters of beer (decrease by 34.5%) and 144.2 thousand tons of flour from soft wheat and spelled (decrease by 10.4%).

In January 2022, 50 trucks were produced in the republic (by the corresponding period of 2021, the volume of production decreased by 80.0%).

In January 2022, one bus was produced in the republic (by the corresponding period of 2021, a decrease in production by 83.3% was noted).

In January 2022, more than 12.0 thousand pieces of car engines were produced in the republic (an increase of 6.8 times compared to the corresponding period in 2021).

In January 2022, 380 transformers were produced in the republic (by January 2021, the volume of production increased by 50.8%).

In January 2022, 60.6 tons of “sandwich” panels were produced in the republic (a decrease in production by 94.4% was recorded against the corresponding period in 2021).

In January 2022, the machine-building industry produced 37.9 thousand batteries (a decrease in production by 10.8% was recorded against the corresponding period in 2021).

In the automotive industry in January 2022, 3 393 Cobalt cars were produced (the growth rate increased by 33.6 times compared to the same period in 2021), 713 - Nexia (8.1 times), 4 216 – Gentra (2 108.0 times), 323 – Spark (8.3 times), 1 749 – specialized passenger cars (2.6 times) and 3652 – Damas (growth rate was 84.2%).

The overhaul of technological equipment made it possible to increase the capacity utilization of chemical enterprises and exceed the production figures of the previous year for the production of disodium carbonate (118.8% compared to January 2021). At the same time, there is an increase in the production of paints and varnishes based on acrylic or vinyl polymers in the aquatic environment (148.9%) and ammonium sulfate (153.0%).

If in January 2021 the share of the metallurgical industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 33.3%, and the physical volume index increased by 3.9%, then in January 2022 the share of the industry in the manufacturing industry was 30.2%, the physical volume index increased by 5.1%, while the volume of production amounted to 7 736.7 billion soums.

In January 2021, the share of production of other non-metallic mineral products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 4.5%, while the physical volume index, compared to the same period in 2020, reached 111.7%. In January 2022, the share of other non-metallic mineral products amounted to 4.1%, the index of physical volume of production increased by 6.3%, and the volume of production amounted to 1043.4 billion soums.

If in January 2021 the share of food production in the volume of the manufacturing industry was 14.6%, and the physical volume index reached 110.3%, then in January 2022 the share of food products decreased to 13.0%, while the physical volume index amounted to 102.2%, and the total production volume - 3338.7 billion soums.

At the end of January 2021, the share of beverage production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.0%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, amounted to 95.2%. In January 2022, the share of beverage production amounted to 2.1%, the physical volume index - 115.2%, and the volume of production reached 535.9 billion soums.

At the end of January 2021, the share of textile production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 16.4%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, amounted to 112.4%. In January 2022, the share of textile production amounted to 17.5%, the physical volume index increased by 6.8%, and the volume of production became equal to 4503.3 billion soums.

If in January 2021 the share of clothing production in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 3.3%, and the physical volume index was 109.4%, then in January 2022 the share of the industry in the manufacturing industry was 2.8%, the physical volume index - 101.6%, the volume of production became equal to 715.5 billion soums

In January 2021, the share of chemical production in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 8.0%, while the physical volume index, compared to the same period in 2020, amounted to 96.0%. In January 2022, the share of chemical products amounted to 7.7%, the index of physical volume of production increased by 2.8%, and the volume of production amounted to 1970.7 billion soums.

At the end of January 2021, the share of production of coke and products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 3.3%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, amounted to 79.9%. In January 2022, the share of production of coke and refined products amounted to 1.9%, the physical volume index decreased to 69.8%, and the production volume amounted to 498.6 billion soums.

At the end of January 2021, the share of production of rubber and plastic products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 1.5%, while the volume index was 95.2%. In January 2022, the share of this industry amounted to 1.3%, the physical volume index - 103.2%, production volume - 321.1 billion soums.

In January 2021, the share of electrical equipment production in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 2.0%, while the physical volume index, compared to the same period in 2020, amounted to 71.7%. In January 2022, the share of this industry amounted to 2.1%, the index of physical volume of production - 89.7%, and the volume of production - 527.0 billion soums.

At the end of January 2021, the share of production of metal products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 1.8%, while the index of physical volume, in relation to the same period in 2020, amounted to 91.2%. In January 2022, the share of this industry amounted to 2.1%, the physical volume index - 100.2%, and the volume of production - 534.9 billion soums.

At the end of January 2021, the share of motor vehicle production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.8%, while the physical volume index, compared to the same period in 2020, was 21.5%. In January 2022, the share of this industry amounted to 7.4%, the index of physical volume increased by 2.2 times, the volume of production - 1908.7 billion soums.

The volume of products produced by electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning enterprises in the period under review amounted to 3.2 trillion soums (9.7% of the total industry). The index of the physical volume of the industry, compared with the corresponding period of 2021, increased by 5.1%.

The volume of products produced by water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal enterprises in January 2022 amounted to 0.2 trillion soums (0.66% of the total industry).

Compared to the corresponding period of 2021, in January 2022 there was an increase in the production of textile waste by 10.7%, services for the disposal, transportation of wastewater and their treatment – by 40.1%, as well as services for emptying, cleaning and treatment of cesspools, septic tanks and septic tanks by 1.8%.

As a result of the measures taken to expand the range and stimulate the release of finished products, the production of consumer goods in January 2022 amounted to 9.6 trillion soums and, compared to the corresponding period in 2021, the growth rate reached 131.5%, the share in the total industry amounted to 29.1%.

In the structure of the output of food products, the production of wine and vodka products and beer in January 2022 amounted to 6.0% (7.4% in January 2021). In the structure of production of consumer goods of the republic, the largest share falls on the city of Tashkent (22.1% of the total volume of consumer goods), Andijan (15.4%), Tashkent (14.3%) and Samarkand (11.5%) regions. The largest growth in the production of consumer goods was recorded in Andijan (by 2.9 times compared to the corresponding period of 2021), Jizzakh (141.7%) regions and Tashkent city (133.2%), exceeding the average for the republic (131.5 %).

In the structure of the production of consumer goods of the republic in January 2022, the largest share falls on Tashkent city (22.1% of the total volume of consumer goods), Andijan (15.4%), Tashkent (14.3%), Samarkand (11.5%) regions.

In the structure of production of non-food products of the republic in January 2022, the largest share falls on Tashkent city (23.0% of the total volume of non-food products), Andijan (21.3%), Samarkand (12.4%), Tashkent (10.5%) regions.

In the structure of food production of the republic in January 2022, the largest share falls on the city of Tashkent (20.5% of the total volume of food products), Tashkent (20.8%) and Samarkand (10.0%) regions.

In the total volume of industrial production of the republic in January 2022, the largest share falls on the city of Tashkent (15.0% of the total volume of industrial goods), Navoi (19.6%), Tashkent (19.1%) regions.

The analysis of the differentiation of industrial output per capita in January 2022 showed an excess of the national average (942.8 thousand soums) in Navoi (6301.2 thousand soums), Tashkent (2150.9 thousand soums) regions and Tashkent city (1753.2 thousand soums).

In January 2022, small businesses produced products worth 6.1 trillion soums, the share of which in the total production amounted to 18.5%

The production of consumer goods per capita in January 2022 in the republic amounted to 274.0 thousand soums, including in Tashkent city - 749.9 thousand soums, Tashkent region - 469.2 thousand soums, Andijan region - 456.2 thousand soums, Bukhara region - 329.9 thousand soums

Nowadays, 91.8 thousand industrial enterprises operate in the republic, of which 16.2 thousand (17.6% of the total number of operating enterprises) are located in Tashkent city, 10.0 thousand (10.9%) - Fergana, 9.5 thousand (10.3%) - Andijan, 9.3 thousand (10.2%) - Tashkent and 8.1 thousand (8.9%) - Samarkand regions.
