English language teachers participate in training in Tashkent

It was organized by British Council in cooperation with the Center for secondary special education under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan.

The training is aimed at improving skills of English language teachers of tourism colleges. The participants will discuss peculiarities of teaching English language for special purpose.

The training will include such topics as business writing, business communication, peculiarities of tourism worldwide and in Uzbekistan. It is also planned to hold meeting with employees and representatives of tourism sector.

This is the fourth training in the sector and it is planned to hold similar events within a year. After successful implementation of the project, it is planned to use its experience in other sectors.
