Energy Charter Secretary General holds talks at Uzbek MFA

Urban Rusnák arrived in Uzbekistan to attend the International Investment Forum, which is taking place in Tashkent on 5-6 November.

The sides considered development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Secretariat of Energy Charter, which currently unites 54 states and the European Union, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, Urban Rusnák, on his request, was informed on practical aspects of realization of several state programmes in Uzbekistan, directed at developing energy sector, modernization of industry and use alternative sources of energy.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on some regional problems in energy sphere.
