Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 17 July 2025, the Committee for Tourism of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with Zoran Kočoski, CEO of the international company Kouzon Corporation.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation aimed at engaging Uzbek citizens—particularly students of tourism universities and colleges—in legal employment on international cruise ships.

Zoran Kočoski noted the high level of training and learning conditions at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Samarkand campus of the International Tourism Academy, which he visited on 16 July. In this regard, he expressed strong interest in recruiting graduates from these institutions into the cruise sector.

According to him, Uzbek citizens aged 21 to 45 with English language proficiency are eligible for employment in the industry.

In cooperation with the Migration Agency, Kouzon Corporation is ready to provide practical support in obtaining visas, candidate selection, training, and deployment.

As a result of the meeting, an initiative was proposed to organize a familiarization visit in August or September 2025 for representatives of relevant educational institutions and tourism agencies to Türkiye to study working conditions and industry requirements within the cruise sector.
