Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Employees of preschool, general education and medical institutions of Uzbekistan will be vaccinated against influenza for free by 1 October 2020.

On 26 August, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree "On additional measures for social support of the population."

Vaccination will be carried out in a centralized manner. It is expected that 1.5 million people will be vaccinated.

The head of Uzbekistan instructed the Ministries, departments and khokimiyats to organize work on targeted distribution of funds with the establishment of strict control in this area.
