Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the night of 18 December, a truck heading towards Tashkent caught fire at the Kamchik pass. The incident took place at the 234th km of the Tashkent-Osh international highway.

Employees of the special search, fire and rescue department "Kamchik" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene within 5 minutes. In a matter of minutes, the fire was completely eliminated.

According to the preliminary version, the car caught fire as a result of a short circuit of the wires. There were no casualties or casualties in the incident. It should be noted that according to Uzhydromet’s data, snow is expected at the Kamchik pass on December 19-20, sometimes heavy, as well as fog and gusty winds. Snow and ice may form on the road.
