Emergency services hold drills at Qamchiq pass

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, services of the GSChS carried out actions on liquidation of consequences of natural and man-made disasters at Qamchiq pass.

The exercise scenario included possible situation in the area of the pass, which could occur in the the result of the earthquake and its secondary factors, traffic accidents and jam, as well as avalanche.

The emergency specialists should organize uninterrupted and sustainable movement of automobiles at A-373 “Tashkent-Osh” road. Services also provide hot meal and heat to population, drivers and passengers.

The mobile management points with necessary life support elements were launched in order to collect, analyze and sum up information on situation, management of actions and resources of GSChS.
