Elevators in apartment houses in Tashkent to be replaced in 2016-2021

The programme is approved with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan “On additional measures on further improving state of elevator equipment in apartment houses and strengthening material-technical base of main department on accomplishment under Tashkent city administration” from 10 August 2015.

According to the programme, some 1,000 elevators will be replaced in the apartment houses in Tashkent city in 2016-2021. Estimated cost of the programme is 85.769 billion soums.

It is planned to replace 186 elevators in apartment houses of Tashkent in 2016 (cost – 15.953 billion soums), 179 elevators in 2017 (15.353 billion soums), 162 elevators in 2018 (13.895 billion soums), 157 elevators in 2019 (13.466 billion soums), 156 elevators in 2020 (13.38 billion soums) and 160 elevators in 2021 (13.723 billion soums).

The programme will be financed due to budget resources of Tashkent city. The territorial communal-exploitation union of Tashkent city administration is the customer of works on updating of elevators.

The Ministry of Finance was entrusted to allocated necessary funds to finance execution of the programme, starting from state budget for 2016.
