Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential resolution “On the creation of additional amenities in driving vehicles and operating linear taxis” was adopted.

According to the resolution, from 1 September 2022, electronic registration of a power of attorney for driving vehicles through the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services (my.gov.uz) will be established.

Notarization of an electronic power of attorney is not required, it is checked electronically by traffic police officers. 

The state fee for an electronic power of attorney is charged in comparison with the state fee established for notarization of a power of attorney (3 times the size of the BRV - 900 thousand soums), in the following percentages:

- for up to one month - 10 percent (90 thousand soums);

- for up to six months - 50 percent (450 thousand soums);

- for up to three years - 100 percent (900 thousand soums).

The requirement for mandatory advanced training of drivers of legal entities once every 2 years has been cancelled.

From 1 September 2022, notarization of transport lease agreements between citizens and legal entities licensed for passenger transportation is not required.

At the same time, these agreements are subject to electronic accounting with the tax authorities.

From 1 September 2022 to the end of 2024:

- transportation of passengers in transport with the number of seats not more than 4 is considered as the activity of a self-employed person, this activity is carried out on the basis of a license sheet;

- in the presence of a license sheet, the requirement for the life of the car is canceled.
