Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Citizens of Uzbekistan will soon receive electronic draft notices for military enlistment through the Public Services platform. This was announced by the press service of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

During a session held on 4 March, lawmakers reviewed the draft law on amendments and additions to the Law "On Universal Military Duty and Military Service" in its second reading.

Under the new provisions, residents will no longer be required to submit 73 types of certificates, as these documents will now be accessible through the "Electronic Government" system.

To simplify bureaucratic procedures and enhance convenience for the population, plans are in place to digitize the processes of military registration and deregistration. The draft law has already been approved in its third reading.
