Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 January, at 18:12, a short circuit of electrical wires occurred at the Turkiston station of the Yunusabad metro line, which led to smoke. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and relevant organizations took the necessary measures to eliminate the incident. The issues have now been resolved. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that the movement of the metro is carried out according to the schedule.
