Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Egypt in Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Agency for the Development of Cooperation and the Ministry of Culture of Egypt, handed over books in Arabic to the National Library of Uzbekistan.
Ambassador of Egypt to Uzbekistan Amira Fahmi noted that Egypt provides a collection of books on Arabic grammar for organizing educational courses for the National Library of Uzbekistan. She invited those wishing to learn Arabic to get acquainted with the books donated to the library and enjoy them.
Amira Fahmi stressed that this visit to the National Library of Uzbekistan is a symbol of the development of relations between the two countries in the cultural and social spheres.
Director of the National Library of Uzbekistan Umida Teshaboeva noted that the library plans to sign memorandums of cooperation with leading libraries in Egypt. She added that the library will organize Arabic language courses with the involvement of three experts from Egypt.
