Earthquake occurred in Navoi region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Republican Center for Seismic Predictive Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that an earthquake occurred on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 4 January 2023 at 04:31 local time.

Epicenter was in Tamdy district of Navoi region. Earthquake coordinates: 42.06 degrees north latitude; 64.35 degrees east longitude. Magnitude M=3.9. Depth 15 km. 

The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 414 km in the north-west direction.
