Earthquake in Southern Kyrgyzstan: Mild Tremors Felt in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At 18:02 local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.9 struck the Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan. The epicenter was located at a depth of approximately 10 kilometers.
According to the Republican Center for Seismic Forecasting Monitoring, the tremors reached an intensity of 3 points at the epicenter.
In Uzbekistan, seismic activity was felt in the Uchkurgan district of the Namangan region. However, the intensity did not exceed 2 points.
