Earthquake in Afghanistan felt in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An earthquake with epicenter in Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan was registered in Uzbekistan at 22:16 on Sunday, 22 November 2015.

According to the data of the European-Mediterranean Seismology Center, the magnitude at the epicenter was 6.

Tashkent seismic station that the power of underground tremors in Tashkent was 1-2 points and Surkhandarya region - 2 points.

The epicenter was located 530 km away from Tashkent at Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan.

It is worth to mention that this is the third earthquake, which was felt in Uzbekistan, for last three days. On 20 and 21 November, earthquakes with epicenters in Kyrgyzstan shook Uzbekistan.
