Earthquake felt in two districts of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Republican Center for Seismic Predictive Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that on 11 October 2022, at 04:23 Tashkent time, an earthquake occurred in Afghanistan. 

Earthquake coordinates: 37.11 degrees north latitude; 71.27 degrees east longitude. Magnitude M=5.5. Depth 160 km. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 495 km in a southeasterly direction.

The strength of tremors in the territory of Uzbekistan:

Surkhandarya region: 2 points, 355 km.

Ferghana region: 2 points, 366 km.
